On August 19, 2020 we provided mutual aid assistance to Inter-Canyon Fire Protection District along with Indian Hills Fire Rescue, Platte Canyon Fire Protection District, Evergreen Fire Rescue, and Jefferson County Sheriff's Office for a
barn that had caught fire
on Fox Den at Jennings Road in Morrison. When we arrived the structure was fully involved and we moved into a defensive attack.
Sadly, the barn was a total loss, but fortunately no one was hurt and all the animals were recovered or returned home the next day.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
