After I got home I had a nice face-to-face Skype chat with my daughter in England. She's having the time of her life over there. It's great being able to video-chat with her for free that far away.
We used Skype a lot when our son was stationed in Okinawa Japan.

My how things have changed. In Vietnam we could make the occasional call home via M.A.R.S (Ham radio) and I once made a call home while in Okinawa, off base and very expensive. (The Marine Corps had lost my college acceptence letter and I needed it in a hurry for my going back to college early out).

OK, now I am taking it personal. The one month I can't make it and everyone shows up? I wish I could have seen everyone. Guess I should say I might not make it next month and more will show up again. But I will be there next month for sure. I normally only miss one or two each year. Hope I can see everyone there next month. Glad you all had a great time and so many showed up.
