whoa....
i did this once when a man flipped me the bird. I was 17 and stupid and with a friend. We followed him home only to see his name on the mailbox... Reverend blablabla. We laughed and kept driving
40coupe, this is not a bedtime story. Mountain/country people are not very urban and do not depend upon society to solve all of their problems with their fellowman.

Ain't nuthin' special about you, regardless of where you live.
Now, if you're done Jacking this otherwise constructive thread....
Each person has to decide what part of society is useful to him; social mores, laws, customs, systems, etc. Accept those that are useful and good for you and reject those that do not serve you.
Dependence upon the systems to solve all of your problems with your fellowman results in a life that is bland, humdrum, futile, and cowardly (emphasis on "cowardly").
It is the same as hiding behind your momma's skirts, hiding from neighborhood bullies, crying to the teacher, etc.
Whenever I was growing up most of the problems of life were settled face-to-face, man-to-man, and sometimes quite violently (fist fights and bloody noses).
Concerning this thread; I am trying my best to add to the constructive content to show an alternative view. You seem to want me to be a wimp and agree that the best way to deal with your fellowman is to run to momma and say that Billy is bothering me.
On an anonymous forum, how is my relating a different view "self serving"?
Becky, judging by your PMs you are a woman that I would not care to meet in person. With your repeated insistence to know who I am, I also suspect that you are mean.
So, drop it.
