In memory of those lost on Hwy 285

About 15 years ago a bicylist was killed just west of Foxton Road after 285 turns from South direction to West. I do not know the name of the bicyclist.

I believe that the average number of fatalities on 285 between Morrison and Buena Vista is 30 annually.

years ago there was an accident at light lane where passengers were thrown from their truck as it rolled down the embankment. i had just finished emt training. a friend, with more advanced emt training and i stopped to help. the little boy my friend worked on was alive but unconscious. she kept talking to him as she worked telling him what she was doing. i was working nearby on another family member. that young man died later. so that's another one.

The truck driver who died in the vicinity of green valley grill (I think) a couple years back.

Accidents with fatalities that I can remember, but unfortunately do not know the names...

Between Jubilee Trail and the Pine Feed store - a vehicle pulling a flat bed trailer. The driver lost control of the trailer, and a car coming the other way hit the trailer.

A semi truck driver rolled a semi right where IREA is.
