Per CDOT, highway has been reopened.

Edited to add - Apparently not true, the CDOT site has the alternating traffic message up again.

We got stuck in that traffic after having lunch at Aspen Peak Cellars and heading back to Pine Junction. I guess it happened shortly before because there were still emergency vehicles driving by with sirens.

Based on that, and lack of traffic going north, we decided to turn around and take a long route back through Foxton and up 126 to Pine Junction. When we got there, we still didn't much traffic, so I guess 285 was still blocked.

I just hope everyone involved is going to be OK.
