English - a beautiful language !

Do you know the difference between

COMPLETE & FINISHED ?

Some People think there is no difference between "COMPLETE" & "FINISHED"........

What do you think ??

Now read the clever version.
When you marry the right one, you are "COMPLETE"....

And when you marry the wrong one, you are "FINISHED".....

And when the right one catches you with the wrong one, you are...

*COMPLETELY FINISHED *

I like that definition. Makes perfect sense. Being finished does not mean something is complete. I'm a good one with that issue. I'm often finished before the project is completed because I get bored with the details and am ready to move on to the next project. A bad character trait that I'd like to finish completely.

What does it mean to be "done"?

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill
