Something good that happened to you this week

Thought I would start this so we could concentrate on the positive for a change:

I went into the office on Friday and stopped at Conifer Starbucks, ordered and drove to the window. Oh, NO! No wallet.

The young lady said, "Just come by on your way home and pay. It's $5.15." I paid on my way home from work.

How wonderfully kind and trusting.

That was cool! I had a rough week with putting my kitty down but someone sent me flowers.
And I got to talk to an old friend. That was cool.

None of my children, parents, siblings died this week. We have not been served with any legal papers. No warrants have been issued on amyone. I have money in my pocket. My checking account has money in it. The electricity is on.

Oh, I'm fine. Really only 2 days' worth of pain. The thing about frostbite is that when you freeze your toes, they go numb...they didn't thaw for 6 days, and that's when I knew there was a problem. Who notices numb toes???

It happened 'cuz the guy at the ski shop said I could wear thin silk socks with my ski boots - well, turns out - he was WRONG!!!

Went back to the ski shop today to have the boots stretched so I could wear real warm socks and use those toe-warmer thingys. Should be good now.
