Wildfire Season, and Preparation for it

The recent Indian Hills (Golden), Burning Tree (Franktown), and many other smaller wildfires should be a wake up call that fire season is here early this year, and all indications are that it may be a bad one. While there is little that we can do about the lack of precipitation, there is much that we can do to lessen the effects if/when a wildfire affects us personally.

Another recent article on kktv.com - http://www.kktv.com/news/headlines/118669439.html , gives some general advice on preparing for evacuation and making sure your insurance coverage is up to date.

We cannot do anything about the high fire danger, but we can do a lot to help protect ourselves and our loved ones.
