It is sad. What they do is dangerous. I stopped watching Nascar after Earnhardt was killed. It wasn't the same after that. RIP, doing what you love.

I was being serious. I raced motorcycles when I was young and crazy. Got hurt a couple times, not too serious though. Someone did get killed though on a track I raced on. It happens.

It's sad to see anyone die participating in a sporting contest.

I quit reading the stories about today's crash because some of them were filled with unnecessary hyperbole.

One writer called it a "tragedy of unspeakable magnitude." A sentence later, the article said 15 cars were involved. I guess the magnitude was speakable after all.
