I am not a racer but I have ridden in go carts. Once years ago in Nebraska, me and my kids went to a go cart race track but these cars were similar to indy cars. They slide around and kind of freaked me out. You have to know what you are doing but it did not take much to start sliding around with your car on the turns. I know this was a freak accident but I do remember that sliding around in those cars it was different from regular go carts.
Ive watched the replay numerious times now and while I am no expert, I think he should have put on his brakes. Everyone elses is slowing down and he just goes flying up and over the rear of the car in front of him.

VL, please...you are embarrassing yourself here. Leave it to us active and retired racing professionals to analyze this. You better stick to volleyball or 20mph horses. Moto sport Racing is just out of your league.
If you want to be, press one. If you want not to be, press 2
Republicans are red, democrats are blue, neither of them, gives a flip about you.

You need to go to Speed Raceway. You can go as fast as you want, but you do have to be careful about bumping.
I did go-karts at the Grand Prix in Denver. Now those were fast and fun. After that I thought I would like to try shifter karts, but after seeing one at our autocross events this year, forget it. There is no way I want to go that fast, that close to the ground.
