Tebow continues to win ugly, but he does keep on winning. 4-5.

May I remind everyone that Elway has some very ugly wins but that was pretty bad. How many passing yards did he have again? 56?

He had as many passing yards as he needed to win
That is the bottom line. His 56 yard pass to Decker was right on. Fox had it right...if the running game is working for you and you are winning, why would you change the game plan no matter who your quarterback is?

If he and the team can accomplish the same thing Thursday, will you really care. It's not a beauty pageant.
I thought the bottom line is wining a game. How long had it been since Denver won at Arrowhead? How long was it since Denver won at Miami? Is he where he needs to be? NO! Does he have the potential? Yes! That touchdown pass today exemplifies the potential he needs to harness. No need to hammer him now about the passing. Everyone knows it.

I do find it interesting that the press continues to focus on the beauty pageant aspects and criticizes him for it. I guess for some the glass will always be half empty. For me, it looks half full with room for more. Let, say the Jets game will be interesting. Their defense is a whole lot tougher than KC. Denver is not going to be able to run consistently for long touchdowns. There will be more passing and Tim needs to focus on that in the few days he will have to prepare.

After the Broncos started 1-4, he has them 3-1 and tied for second only one game out of first. And had he been given more time he would have turned that last loss where he came in, in the forth quarter into a win. And remember this game was without our top two running backs. The Defense really isn't sure how to handle him.

Exactly! And can you imagine how he would be if we actually had two good recievers instead of just one that is double teamed all the time? And we lost our recieving backs early today so he had limited shorter options.

Totally agree. I can remember many chants calling for Kubiak to take over. And if Elway was so good, why did he have so many 4th quarter comebacks. Joe Montana spent the 4th quarter with a baseball cap on watching Steve Young play.

The team and the administration pulled out a win - that is all that counts in the record books.

I know very little about football, but IMO the game was well called based upon the abilities of the players.

I hope both players and administration continue to improve, but at the least, they provided an interesting game today.

At least, I enjoyed it. YMMV.

All good points. In a way this is reminiscent for me of holding job interviews at Shell. We would get together after interviewing a particular candidate and discuss them. I was absolutely astounded at how many wanted to dismiss very good candidates because they were unwilling to look at the potential but focused on totally unreasonable expectations, namely that a fresh Ms or Ph..D. would perform like an experienced worker. Even the most talented need time to develop. The exceptions are few but that becomes the yardstick for all others.

Hey, give Tebow this.... When he throws a bad pass, at least he throws it so that no one can catch it. Orton throws turn overs.

This was like 50 of his yards. LOL.
