Platte Canyon Huskies are now 4-0 (despite what highschoolsports.net reports) and are one of the top 3 Football teams in the 2A division. We have one more non-league game against Mead next Saturday and then 5 league games starting Oct 9th at Denver West.
Mark another one in the win column! We beat the Mead Mavericks 51-8 today!!! Way to go Guys! Next week we are at Denver West at 10 am (Their coaches were at today's game checking us out for a while) Denver West is our first league game and is played at All City Stadium. So far in our league Platte Canyon and Bennett are the only undefeated teams. We play Bennett here on Saturday, Oct 23rd at 1.
The Huskies are definitely making a name for themselves and getting a reputation. The lady selling Mead fundraiser pancake breakfast tickets even said something like, "you guys are ranked really high, aren't you?". We just smiled.
The last time they lost a regular season game was October 13th in 2007. That is a nice streak!
