I was halfway across that road toward the babies, moving slow. The females didn't seem concerned; one even walked up close behind me to get to better grass. But when one of the bucks started paying attention to me, I backed up and left. Healthy respect for bucks.

Hopefully I can get more photos of them tomorrow!
