THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING...
.MONSOONAL FLOW CONTINUES OVER COLORADO TODAY AND THE STAGE
APPEARS TO BE SET FOR MORE AFTERNOON AND EVENING THUNDERSTORMS
OVER NORTHEAST COLORADO WHICH WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING LOCALLY
HEAVY RAINFALL. VERY MOIST SOIL CONDITIONS EXIST ACROSS MUCH OF
NORTHEAST COLORADO BECAUSE OF THE REPEATED AFTERNOON SHOWERS THAT
HAVE BEEN OCCURRING OVER THE PAST WEEK. AS ADDITIONAL SHOWERS
OCCUR...RAPID RUNOFF WILL OCCUR SINCE THE SOIL WILL NOT BE ABLE TO
HOLD ADDITIONAL RAINFALL.
THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH WILL INCLUDE THE FOURMILE BURN AREA IN
CENTRAL BOULDER COUNTY WHERE HEAVY RAIN SHOWERS WEDNESDAY EVENING
