NORTHWESTERN JEFFERSON COUNTY IN NORTHEAST COLORADO
SOUTHEASTERN GILPIN COUNTY IN CENTRAL COLORADO
EAST CENTRAL CLEAR CREEK COUNTY IN CENTRAL COLORADO
INCLUDING BERGEN PARK...FLOYD HILL...ROCKY FLATS AND WHITE RANCH
OPEN SPACE.

* UNTIL 300 PM MDT

* AT 135 PM MDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
HEAVY RAIN FROM A STORM NEAR FLOYD HILL...OR 23 MILES WEST OF
DENVER. THIS STORM WAS MOVING NORTH NORTHEAST AT 5 MPH.

DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATES THAT AROUND 0.75 TO 1 INCH OF RAIN HAS
FALLEN FROM THIS STORM IN THE LAST 30 MINUTES.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE MINOR FLOODING OF CREEKS
AND STREAMS...ROADS AND ROADSIDE CULVERTS. THE HEAVY RAINS COULD ALSO
TRIGGER ROCK SLIDES OR MUD FLOWS IN STEEP TERRAIN.

FOR EAST CENTRAL CLEAR CREEK...SOUTHEASTERN GILPIN AND NORTHWESTERN
JEFFERSON COUNTIES...

AT 215 PM MDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THE
THUNDERSTORM WITH HEAVY RAIN WAS 3 MILES NORTHEAST OF WHITE RANCH
OPEN SPACE...OR ABOUT 18 MILES NORTHWEST OF DENVER. THIS STORM WAS
MOVING NORTHEAST AT 10 MPH.

LOCATIONS REMAINING IN THE ADVISORY INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
BERGEN PARK...FLOYD HILL...ROCKY FLATS AND WHITE RANCH OPEN SPACE.

DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATES THAT 0.5 TO 1.5 INCHES OF RAIN HAVE FALLEN
FROM THIS STORM IN THE LAST HOUR. THE HEAVIEST RAINFALL WITH THIS
STORM OCCURRED NEAR FLOYD HILL.
