Update: 3:37 PM, 6/29 - Mandatory evacuations are occurring for all homes between the fire and County Road 22. County Road 22 is now closed. The fire has grown to 250 acres. Fire activity is high with low relative humidity and high wind gusts.

Residence in Black Mountain Subdivisions are encouraged to remove livestock and pets out of the area and to prepare for a full evacuation. Evacuations are voluntary for Black Mountain but residents are encouraged to leave if concerned. County Rd 22 is closed. If the fire crosses County Rd 22 evacuations will become mandatory.

The Park County Fairgrounds are also open for livestock.
