Beginning Monday morning, May 6 there will be daytime lane restrictions on southbound US 285 south of Fairplay for milling edge line and setting temporary barrier.

Monday, May 6 to Thursday, May 9, 2019 - sunrise to sunset each day
Friday, May 10, 2019 - sunrise to 12 noon
Southbound lane restriction at US 285 between approximate milepost 174.98 - 178.02.
Lane closure will be one mile long and be moved as the operation progresses.
Motorists can expect flagger operations with north and southbound one-lane alternating traffic
15-minute delays and a 40 mile per hour speed limit reduction.
Construction will take place during daylight hours, Monday through Thursday, and sunrise to Noon, Friday.
Alternative routes are suggested.

The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) has initiated a 20-mile resurfacing and 3-mile widening (passing lanes) project located north and south of Fairplay, Colo. designed to improve safety and ride quality. The project includes 3-miles of passing lanes in each direction just south of Fairplay. It also includes culvert extensions, surface improvements and guardrail updates.
