The 64A Fire is at 50% containment. Fire cause is being investigated. A type 1 and one type 3 helicopter was released from the incident today. The Type 1 helicopter will be preposition at the Monument

Update per #pcfpd Chief Burgett who is assigned to the fire...
The immediate threat to the Payne Gulch subdivision and surrounding area has diminished.
Fire size remains at 12 acres
Fire is currently 50% contained.
***Evacuation Order***
WILL remain in place until firefighters have hose line in place along with 100% containment.

As long as there are no set backs...100% containment is projected & expected to be completed by end of shift tomorrow.
Smoke will be visible from the fire today.
