Evacuating 3 Sisters Park.

Fire is roughly located in the 3500 block of Overland Trail.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office has issued an evacuation order for Upper Bear Creek Rd Elephant Butte area due to wildland fire. The CodeRed was sent out to a 5-mile radius & includes 250 homes. There is a threat to your safety & you should leave this area immediately 1/3

Best routes out of the area are West End Upper Bear Creek Rd West to King Murphy Elementary School. Evacuation centers are established at King Murphy Elementary 425 Circle K Ranch Road and Evergreen Middle School 2059 Hiwan Drive 2/3 #jeffco

If you need help to evacuate, call 9 1 1 immediately. Large animals and livestock may be taken to the Jefferson County Fairgrounds; pets may be taken to the evacuation center or @FAShelter

Fire estimated at 30-40 acres burning, torching in trees. It's going over the ridge to the southeast from where it started.
