Confirmed Wildland Fire on Rainbow Hill Rd, Foothills Fire, Genesee Fire, Highland Rescue Ambulance, and Evergreen Fire responding. Access available off an area trail, may be able to get a Type 6 engine in.

Requesting 2 Type 6 Brush trucks and a Type 2 helicopter for air support.

Fire is 100’ x 50’ in size burning in grasses. Helicopter is en route.

Requesting a crew with saws, checking to see if Evergreen or Elk Creek Fire Fuels Crews are available.

Spot weather forecast: 51-55 degrees, 64-67% humidity, gusts up to 35mph.

Requesting mutual aid of two Type 6 engines and two Type 3 engines.

Fire is slowing down, but still pretty good gusts on the ridge. If they could get one additional Type 6 and Type 3 with crews, that should be sufficient.

Standing down air support request, ops advises the Fuels Crews/modules are not available, but ground crew states they will have enough personnel with what’s incoming. Standing down request for Wildland modules.
