INCHES WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE. STRONG WEST TO
NORTHWEST WINDS OF 20 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 60 MPH ABOVE
TIMBERLINE.

* IMPACTS...NEAR BLIZZARD CONDITIONS WILL OCCUR OVER THE HIGHER
MOUNTAINS. THE STRONG WINDS WILL CAUSE WIDESPREAD LOW
VISIBILITIES DUE TO BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW.

...SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW WILL CONTINUE IN THE HIGH COUNTRY THIS MORNING...

.PERIODS OF SNOW WILL CONTINUE IN THE MOUNTAINS THROUGH THIS
MORNING AS MOIST NORTHWEST FLOW ALOFT REMAIN ACROSS COLORADO. THE
HEAVIEST SNOW WILL CONTINUE TO FALL IN ELEVATIONS ABOVE 9500
FEET...WITH LIGHTER SNOWFALL IN VALLEY LOCATIONS. IN
ADDITION...STRONG AND GUSTY WINDS WILL CONTINUE ABOVE TIMBERLINE
PRODUCING CONSIDERABLE BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW.

THIS STORM HAS ALREADY PRODUCED UP TO 2 FEET OF SNOW AT THE
EISENHOWER TUNNEL...WHILE MOST OTHER MOUNTAIN AREAS HAVE RECEIVED
BETWEEN 8 AND 16 INCHES.

TRAVEL IN THE MOUNTAINS WILL REMAIN HAZARDOUS THIS MORNING WITH ADDITIONAL
SNOW...GUSTY WINDS...AND SNOWPACKED ROADS. CHAIN LAWS MAY BE IN
PLACE FOR THE APPROACHES TO THE EISENHOWER TUNNEL AND VAIL
PASS...AS WELL AS FOR BERTHOUD PASS. LOVELAND PASS WAS CLOSED DUE
TO THE ADVERSE WEATHER CONDITIONS.

THEN EXPECTED TO GRADUALLY DECREASE THIS AFTERNOON.

* ACCUMULATION/WIND...ADDITIONAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 3
INCHES CAN BE EXPECTED THIS MORNING. THIS WILL BRING STORM
TOTALS INTO THE 12 TO 24 INCH RANGE... WITH LOCALLY HIGHER
AMOUNTS ABOVE TIMBERLINE. STRONG WEST TO NORTHWEST WINDS OF 20
TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS AROUND 50 MPH WILL OCCUR ABOVE TIMBERLINE.

* IMPACTS...CONSIDERABLE BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW WILL OCCUR IN
OPEN AREAS AND ABOVE TIMBERLINE. VISIBILITIES WILL DROP TO ONE
QUARTER MILE OR LESS DURING HEAVIER SNOW SHOWERS AND IN AREAS OF
BLOWING SNOW. SLOW AND HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS CAN BE
