Platte Canyon Fire district is placing a ban on all controlled burns or campfires on private property.

Contrary to what you might read elsewhere,
The Platte Canyon Fire Ban remains in effect until further notice from the Platte Canyon Fire District.
(per the Platte Canyon Fire District secretary)

Hopefully they will post something on their website soon to help keep the public informed.
