WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY MORNING THROUGH TUESDAY
AFTERNOON.
* TIMING...STRONG WEST WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO INCREASE OVER THE
FOOTHILLS OF LARIMER...BOULDER AND JEFFERSON COUNTIES AROUND
SUNRISE ON TUESDAY AND CONTINUE THROUGH THE MID-AFTERNOON. GUSTY
WINDS MAY ALSO SPREAD ONTO THE ADJACENT PLAINS AT TIMES.
* WINDS...WEST TO NORTHWEST WINDS OF 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO
60 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE.
* IMPACTS...STRONG CROSSWINDS ON NORTH-SOUTH HIGHWAYS...LIKE THE
PEAK-TO-PEAK HIGHWAY AND U.S. 93 BETWEEN BOULDER AND
GOLDEN...MAY MAKE TRAVEL DANGEROUS FOR HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES.
GUSTY WINDS IN THE FOOTHILLS MAY ALSO PICK UP RECENTLY FALLEN
SNOW AND PRODUCE AREAS OF POOR VISIBILITY DUE TO BLOWING SNOW.
ROADS MAY ALSO BECOME ICY WHERE BLOWING SNOW OCCURS.

WIND WATCH.
WESTERLY WINDS WILL INCREASE LATER TONIGHT & TUES MORNING
ACROSS THE HIGHER MTNS & FRONT RANGE FOOTHILLS.
WEAKER WIND SPEEDS ARE NOW EXPECTED.WITH SPEEDS OF 20 TO 35 MPH
WITH GUSTS UP TO 65 MPH ABOVE TIMBERLINE & RIDGETOPS. EXPOSED
FOOTHILL LOCATIONS MAY SEE SOME GUSTS UP TO 50 MPH.WHILE
LOCATIONS AT THE BASE OF THE FOOTHILLS WILL SEE LOCAL GUSTS UP TO
40 MPH IN WIND PRONE LOCATIONS. THE STRONGEST WINDS WILL LIKELY BE
ACROSS WESTERN BOULDER COUNTY DURING TUES MORNING.THEN
DECREASING DURING THE AFTERNOON HRS.
