There will be a Firewise Community Spring Training Seminar on Saturday, April 16, 2011 from 8:00 AM to Noon at the Elk Creek Fire Department on Richmond Hill (11993 Blackfoot Rd.)
This spring is shaping up to be a dry, windy, dangerous time for all of us. The Firewise Communities program teaches people how to adapt to living with wildfire and encourages neighbors to work together and take action to prevent losses. We all have a role to play in protecting ourselves and each other from the risk of wildfire.
