There is something missing in the math, the BOCC isn't the smartest group around but even they could see spending $1.5M over 13 years for a $14K a year savings doesn't add up.
We will see if there is a correction in the paper this week. Is the savings $14K per month or $14K on top of what the county already spends or ???
The math is so far off, there must be a mistake in the story. If not, damn this is dumb move.
I do not think you will see a correction as they have been talking about this for some time.
If anyone has a link on where to complain I think we need to come together and do this before they do something stupid yet again.
I read the story and they did not go into how it would take way to many years to pay it off. Not to mention the life span of the solar it would have to be replaced before it even pays itself off.
This really seems like a DAH move to me but then again I am only of average intelligence maybe those high intelligence people can chime in.

Thats mostly why SO many folks sit in here and complain, it's cause we CAN'T do anything against the "good ol' boys". Numerous laws have been broken, lieing, cheating, manipulating, you name it, our little government does it all, and our hands are tied. It's been occuring REALLY a LOT since MG was "appointed" due to a huge conspiracy, and it's only gotten worse over the years...
Oh what a lovely world we would live in if our little government WORKED WITH their community, instead of being badge heavy, and egotistical because of their position, and corrupt..... but not in the Park.... You will get absolutely NO WHERE in complaining about anything!!! They are the law, and they know how to manipulate it into their favor. That's just the way it is, sadly :faint:
