Fire danger high in Park County - The Flume

Fire danger in northern Park County is higher than average and it is even worse in southern Park County, according to Mike Hessler, the fire management officer for the U.S. Forest Service. Details in this week's Flume.

Ironic to post this when the WFAS forecast for tomorrow ( http://www.wfas.net/images/firedanger/fd_cls_f.png ) is Moderate for most of the area.

Not to downplay the fire danger, just to point out that it can change rapidly, and we need to be continually aware of changing conditions.
