Kathy Mastroianni, the chief executive officer of the Bailey-based Mountain Peace Shelter, resigned on Feb. 6, and Janet Shown was chosen as interim executive director on Feb. 7. Details in this week's Flume.

Very sorry to see Kathy resign, she has done a great job!

But, she deserves some time off, and I'm sure Janet will do well.
