Business Meeting/Public Hearings

These meetings have three parts: the business meeting, the public hearing and public comment. In these meetings the Board may approve contracts, expend funds, hear testimony, make decisions on land use cases and take care of other county matters, and are open to the public.

Meetings are held on most Tuesdays beginning at 8:00 a.m. in Hearing Room One in the Courts and Administration Building located at 100 Jefferson County Parkway in Golden.

The meetings, in which the Board approves contracts, expends funds, hears testimony, makes decisions on land use cases and takes care of other county matters, are open to the public. The Board meeting has three parts: the Business Meeting, the Public Hearing and Public Comment. Agenda items will normally be considered in the order they appear on the agenda. However, the Board may alter the agenda, take breaks during the meeting, work through the noon hour and even continue an item to a future meeting date.

First public comment: Eric Gill, representing Evergreen Local Improvement District (ELID), asking for advice on what the next move could be that ELID could take to move forward with creating ELID as an Intergovernmental Agency. Mentioned that the tax proposal isn't necessary to include, and could be off the table indefinitely, but the IGA is crucial to helping ELID continue making improvements to downtown Evergreen.
