Obama Launches Re-election Campaign. GOP Hesitates.

:pop Barack is the first to declare in the race, why have the Republicans been so hesitant to actually jump in the deep end and declare themselves?

Supposedly BHO is very vulnerable, shouldn't there be Republicans chomping at the bit to start raising money? And considering how many of the Left Obama has disappointed, why isn't there a Dem stepping in to battle the current POTUS?

NBC & the Reagan library just recently postponed the first Republican debate because no one has declared or even accepted an invitation.

Why is the GOP so scared? Worried they can't raise the 1 billion they will need to challenge Barack? Frontrunners scared they won't survive the TEA party primaries?

 Good point. I have noticed both Bill Clinton and Barack Obama prefer to be on the campaign trail in front of adoring crowds. Reagan too seemed to like the limelight aspect of being President.

Today Barack announced that he was going to actually host a budget meeting to prevent the gov't from shutting down. Good to know Obama was able to clear a spot on his schedule to actually meet with the legislative side of goverment.

Thats what I was thinking...every speech seems to be a sales pitch.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

This is the latest an opposing political party has not had a candidate to challenge an incumbent president.

And still, no one is stepping forward. It's a disgrace.

He is announcing early so that we stop whining about his constant campaigning. Now he is justified.

A little early? The Republican Party already had a debate scheduled that they had to cancel because there are no Republican candidates. that they scheduled the debate indicates they expected to have candidates running by now.
