Behind Closed Doors, Republicans Cheer A Possible Shutdown

I'd just like to know from th OP, who is cheering? Seems like the title of this thread in bunk imo.

The title of discussion is the title of the article I linked to.

If you think it's bunk, don't read it.

It's just a big red flag that says "THIS IS SOME LEFT WING BIASED SPIN" when they have a title like that, then do nothing to back it up.

One might note here that Boehner has done more to avert the shutdown than either Pelosi before him or Reid has done. Pelosi and the Democrats in the House decided discretion was the better part of valor prior to the 2010 elections and Reid hasn't passed a budget in the Senate since 2009; it is now 2011.

Would seem to me that if the Democrats weren't actively engaged in trying to shut down the government the Senate would have passed a budget in the last 18 months or so that could be reconciled with the one passed in the House.

Hey PS- the liberals are hoping for a shutdown so they can blame it on the tea party.

It may backfire for them though.

Everybody is going to point the finger at each other -- irregardless of which political party they belong to. They're already doing it.
