There was a thread about this a while back....I think it's kind of a Terry Shivo senario except the Canadian death panel made the decision to pull the plug instead of the parents. And if that's not a death panel, I'd sure like to know what else it could be.
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
I think he went home from the hospital yesterday. Poor little guy. This was a perfect example of what Obamacare will be like and we can look forward to the same Death Panels here.
Bulls**t... God, don't you get tired of hearing yourself spout crap? Do you EVER post anything factual...(besides stuff that shows up on Snopes as lies and drivel), or are you incapable of anything other than your opinionated garbage?

Really? please cite some proof of that. I believe that Americans can do better than the Canadians, you obviously believe we cannot.
In this particular situation I believe also that an American insurance company would have recommended that the plug be pulled, this child was, and still is, terminal. They can keep him alive for a few months, but they cannot save him.
The "death panel" in this case would have been the case-worker at the other end of the phone at Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Wellpoint, Kaiser-Permanente, or whoever... A terminally-ill child? You really really believe a private-insurer would have covered it?
Of course, if we had a single-payer plan, like Medicare, the service would have been covered...
I'd like to see some proof, too, of the Canadian system being the model for ours... The Right has done nothing but scream about not allowing us become a "Canadian style system..."
The parents lost a child previously to this same syndrome. Maybe they should have considered not having any more kids and saved everyone a lot of trouble, outrage, and money. People should learn about birth control.

Archer, Obama has declared in his speeches that he wants a single payer system like Canada and Europe and hoping that America will be able to do a better job with healthcare than Canada doesn't sound very reassuring.
BTW, Obama didn't get the single payer he wants because of a few remaining conservative Dems.
Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.
Sorry....But I don't recall him saying he wanted a single payer system "like" canada in any of his speeches......yes, he would have liked a single payer system, as would I, but I think we can do better than Canada, or anywhere else for that matter.
