It's amazing to watch conservatives blame Bush for Obama's success and blame Obama for Bush's failures.

Obama didn't do anything other than authorize the op. Obama should get no more credit than that, the planning and execution of taking down enemy number one was done well before Barry ever soiled the office with his presence!

If I have this straight, it is your contention that Obama was just continuing the policies of Bush and therefore, the credit for the kill goes to Bush, even though it is halfway through Obama's term. Yet, when Obama continues the majority of Bush's policies, it is Obama that gets the blame for Bush's policies?

You don't see the hypocrisy in that position?

The credit for the kill goes to the spec ops folks who got the job done. obama clinton etc did nothing but give the ok and yes continued the bush policies on going after him. Neither bush or obama gets the credit. Spec ops folks gets it.

So, Bush didn't get Saddam?

Exactly right! The men who laid their asses on the line, executed the operation, and put themselves in harms way are the ONLY PEOPLE THAT CAN CLAIM ANY CREDIT FOR THE DEATH OF UBL!!! May his corpse rot at the bottom of the Arabian Sea until his remains are converted into whale sh**!

From what I'm reading of otis & NavyCPO, you wouldn't give credit to either Bush or Obama for the kill, so I guess that means you both disagree with Vikings hero worship picture of Bush?
