Osama bin Laden had 500 Euros and phone numbers sewn into clothing
Osama bin Laden had 500 Euros (£450) and two telephone numbers sewn into his clothing when he was shot dead, indicating he was prepared to flee his fortified hideout at very short notice, according to the CIA.
Wonder whose phones numbers? I'll bet one was to the ranch in Crawford. rofllol

No doubt- George Jr gave Osama a pass and Rightwingnuts were just fine with that, then Obama defends the country and gives 9/11 families the justice they so richly deserve by assasinating the madman.... and Republicans and Tea Baggers complain that "he violated the sovereignty of Pakistan!"...?
To hell with the pakistans. They knew he was there and did nothing. Obama killed no one. The Navy Seals did. Obama gave the OK for the mission. Actually I am tired of alot of monday morning QB's. You wasn't there, you have no clue what was going on there, the Navy Seals were there and made a split decision on the spot dealing with situation they had. So what if they killed him, so what if they shot some of the other trash that was there. Seal team 6 made a decision, he is dead done deal.

This is my first Mother's Day without my Mom as well... I'm concentrating on helping my kids make it a great day for my wife to avoid thinking about it.
<looking upwards> Love ya, Mom.
Now, I'll return to my normal avoidance and suppression of grieving emotions...
Indeed - I'm getting good at that as well - avoiding the whole day if possible- seems weather will be good enough for yard work.

Schadenfreude, the enjoyment of others' suffering, may be a famously German concept, but it is apparently not a feeling that many Germans aspire to. The political and public fallout following Chancellor Angela Merkel's statement on Monday that she was "glad" Osama bin Laden had been killed was among the most hotly debated topics in the German media this week.
Politicians, including those within her own center-right coalition, said that no death was cause for celebration, and reproved the remark as un-Christian and vengeful.
But Hamburg judge Heinz Uthmann went even further. He alleges that the chancellor's statement was nothing short of illegal, and filed a criminal complaint against Merkel midweek, the daily Hamburger Morgenpost reported Friday.
When bin Laden’s corpse was laid out, one of the Navy SEALs was asked to stretch out next to it to compare heights. The SEAL was 6 feet tall. The body was several inches taller.
After the information was relayed to Obama, he turned to his advisers and said: “We donated a $60 million helicopter to this operation. Could we not afford to buy a tape measure?”
