Will apparently not be happening. What used to be our little home grown get-together/party has grown and grown so that now it is the Rocky Mountain Music Festival and will be held in Littleton!!!???.
Maybe the battalions of sheriff deputies roaming through the crowds giving people dirty looks while people were trying to have a beer and relax had somthing to do with it.
I know that's why me and my friends stopped going to it.
Well, first it was a nice community gathering, Conifair, with I believe two stages plus community booths, etc. Then it became the Conifer Mountain Music Fest and lost it's appeal to me; and now apparently it's moved down the hill - that's "progress" for you.
I thought the original Conifair was great, but I lost interest when it became just a 'music fest'. I really liked the variety of booths they used to have, the split areas, and the 'tractor ride'.
