1/3rd of conservatives still think Obama not born in U.S.

I guess you believe all women should be deferential to you.

Not at all. I just prefer that I have the bigger mustache.

Nmysys wrote: Our lack of knowledge and regard for Science comes as a result of your fascination with Al Gore and his lies.

Dude, seriously?! That right there speaks volumes - do you honestly believe that Al Gore is the be-all, end-all of the whole of scientific knowledge???? That he alone speaks for physics, biochemistry, botany, robotics, mathematics, genetics, neuroscience, molecular biology, ecology, taxonomy, paleontology, etc.?

How about you take a look at the thousands of scientific journals that are published every year, and get over your fascination with a man who isn't even a scientist, and those idiot deniers who keep harping on him because they got nothing but faux-outrage and little substance. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_sc ... c_journals

I'll bet you won't find Al Gore's name in any of these publications below - and a hell of a lot more knowledge than you imagined possible!

I can't imagine anyone dumb enough to run for pres and not be born in the US and try to slide that by. I just think that Obama was wrong to not release a birth certificate sooner. For the pres that campaigned on transparency, he has not been acting like it. The american people have a right to look at a BC of the president and it could have been put to rest years ago. He most likely waited (like a good politician does) until he could use it at some point to make someone look stupid.

And it is amazing that he made sure that pictures of himself watching the Bin Laden thing got released. He just is exactly like the rest of them. And I don't see any change. I am not saying it is wrong necessarily but I am saying he is not who he professed to be.

Sixteen percent of all voters and 30% of Republicans do not believe President Barack Obama has proven he was born in the U.S., even after release of his long-form birth certificate, a new IBOPE Zogby interactive survey finds.

These results are from an IBOPE Zogby interactive poll conducted April 29-May 2, which was after Obama released the birth certificate and addressed the news media on the topic.

Demographic groups besides Republicans expressing the highest levels of doubt about Obama's birth in the U.S. are conservatives (34%), and those without a college degree (21%) vs. those with a degree (11%).

The IBOPE Zogby interactive poll of 2,020 likely voters has a margin of error of +/-2.2%.

One third of any group are idiots, at a minimum.

But he did. He released the official short-form document long ago, the one that the State of HI recognizes as legit. This nonsense with the long-form is a waste of time and a distraction from the more pressing issues facing us today.

But you are right in that he's not as clean as he campaigned that he'd be - his record on transparency sucks, among other things. Many who voted for him have become disaffected by his actions and lack of follow-through on his professed convictions. He is certainly NOT our messiah.

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill
