Ah, the 1950's, when life was perfect, America was great, and nothing ever went wrong.

I'd go back to the 1950s in a nanosecond. No hesitation. zip zero nada. Not perfect, but way happier.

Was just thinking the same thing...no cell phones, no texting, kids play outside 95% of the time, people send letters and talk in person...ya, I'd go back to stay. (And if I could time travel, I'd take out the guy that invented the TV and save the world)

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

And safer, not to mention less government telling you what you can and can not do. Want to build a house, just do it, no permits needed. Yes, I could be happy there again, but I'd sure miss our present day technology.

Not a whole lot ever did go wrong from what I recall. f course that is a kid's perspective we are talking about. I'm sure there were problems. Life always has them no matter the century, but I think they were far fewer as indicated by the actions taken today vs in the 50's. Let's face it. We make up more problems today because we allow too many well-intentioned people run our lives the way they think it needs to be run, rather than allowing u to make decisions for ourselves.

I wouldn't go back for any amount of money. It wasn't a good time to have a uterus.

I posted the same joke in the Basement on Pine Cam, except it was 2010. Great joke, all should see it.

Edit: Course most of it is true for the most part, so is it really that much of a joke?
