That was a good one, vl you ol' bullsh*tter, Thanks...

I'm telling the truth...She moved to Chicago in the 5th grade, in the middle of the school year, in the middle of a school day. I was a day dreamer and while gazing out a window in class one day I saw her walking up to the school holding her moms hand....Cupids arrow hit me with such force that I think I stood up in class- Thats was it- I was a goner- I knew she was the one

It happens.

It does happen. I think it happens to TPP when he see's that herd of sheep just off 285 near the Highschool.

What sheep? :VeryScared: Honest, I was just helping it over the fence!

No doubt

BS in more than one way. What does his personal story have to do with the 50's anyway? There is no insight and given his previous posts he certainly was not even in kindergarten in the 1950's. This thread is not about VL.

How's that plan to IGNORE me going there Rockdoc?

Seems that you and I can not exchange posts without someone wanting to get in on it. Now, how is that for egomaniac consistency?

I'd say that was a bore, not to mention a hijacked thread. This is about a time VL knows nothing about other than what he picks up from his old union buddies.

The 50's are gone, we are in the here and now. It only goes to show once again that not all progress is positive. Furthermore, if we use the trends over the past 60 years, to see where we are headed in the next 60 years, I can only hope that there will be a major disturbance that disrupts those trends. Spanish will be the official language of the US, there will be more illegal immigrants than citizens, Lj will make sure that everyone makes the same amount of money, has the same value house, has the same doctor care, Vl will insure that all companies be forced to use union labor, of course, there will be few private companies left because most will have moved overseas, but those that have been nationalized will require consultants to get the work done, but everyone working there will be able to retire at 50 with a pension equal to their highest payroll. Everyone will have alternative energy for powering their home and vehicles, but the cost of importing the technology will be staggering, Every morning, noon, and evening a siren will sound letting all workers on farms and in factories know it is time to eat. Everyone will get the same slop, but no one will have to think about where the next meal is coming from. All news other than socialistic enterprises will be censored and those who dare find a connection to the free world will be arrested on charges of treason. Oh baby let the good times roll. I only hope that those who see this Utopia get to experience it first hand.

Even in a progressive utopia, some are more equal than others.
