Not sure if this video was already posted in the other Israel threads but I learned a lot from it. It is very detailed and informative. Well worth watching.

This shows exactly why Obama is so out of touch with reality OR really doesn't care if Israel survives or not. Obama is dead wrong and is either dangerously uninformed or incredibly ignorant.

So I am just curious about what all you people who feel Obama is right with his speech thinks about the facts in this video? Didn't figure I would get many responces from the pro Obama crowd when presented with facts and logic.

That's a great video Viking, I do wonder if Obama really took the time to look at those defense lines and put himself in their shoes given the threats that surround them? Israelis would be sitting ducks if their enemies were allowed to control those higher areas.

I too would like to have an Obama supporter explain the logic of relinquishing those strategic areas. And I really don't care what past presidents have said concerning those lines, Israelis have much to fear and no leader outside of Israel should be telling them what to do. Israel's future depends on how well it can defend itself and everyone should know by now that the surrounding countries have nothing to fear from them unless they are dumb enough to make a first strike.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

You guys are such hypocrites. I did not hear you complaining when your hero proposed the exact same thing on June 24, 2002 in the Rose Garden:

"Ultimately, Israelis and Palestinians must address the core issues that divide them if there is to be a real peace, resolving all claims and ending the conflict between them. This means that the Israeli occupation that began in 1967 will be ended through a settlement negotiated between the parties, based on U.N. Resolutions 242 and 338, with Israeli withdrawal to secure and recognize borders."

I've said it before, and it bears repeating, Obama could give the conservatives absolutely everything they want and they would still hate him and whine about everything he does

Could be easily revised to "Bush could have given the liberals absolutely everything they wanted and they would still hate him and whine about everything he did"

I could also say "Females are id10ts"

Aren't generalizations wonderful, and meaningless?

They don't add much of anything useful tho, IMO.

So stds adn archer are you for them going back to the 1967 borders and shoudl the US have a right to tell them to do that? What is a nation came to us and told us to give land back to mexico or the Native Americans? Should they have a right to do that?

And there is no hypocricy as much as you libs love to scream it. I am not for ANY president or any nation telling Israel that they need to give up land and make themselves indefensible. I am consistant with that! And were you on here in June of 2002 and can you point out which discussion we had on here or Pinecam about it that makes us hypocrites for not saying Bush was wrong? Or are you just spewing things again that are not true?

No, I am for what Obama and those before him have advocated....start with the 1967 borders and negotiate the areas that are under dispute, each side will have to give up something to gain peace. Personally I'm not sure either side is ready for peace.....and may never be. The word compromise is not now, nor has it ever been, part of the Israelis or the Palestinians vocabulary.

I'm actually with major bean on this one....I would rather we just stayed out of it all together.

You could call me a hypocrit if you knew by views on Israel but you don't. I disagreed with Bush and Clinton because no matter how much Israel gives, it will never be enough. Until Hamas and the rest of the Jew haters declare that Israel has the right to exist, (which will never happen) Israeli leaders have a duty to protect their people. If you actually watched the video, which I doubt, I wonder how you would divide the country without leaving the Israelis vulnerable to easy attacks.
