Rep. Anthony Weiner

Nah, maybe a slap on the wrist and censure or whatever they call it. He wants to "hang out" some more and show off his weiner to all his new fans.

If he waits too long to pull out, there could be a much bigger mess to clean up! :Whistle

I caught a few minutes of the press conference, I think the only person in the room and the world that was surprised at this news was the Representative himself. What I couldn't help noticing is that he suddenly volunteered that he had been engaged in this kind of activity "...with about 6 women..." and that it was happening "...before and after I was married, BUT I NEVER ACTUALLY MET WITH ANY OF THOSE WOMEN..." Anyone here the immortal words of Bubba in the background? "I did not have sexual relations with that woman... Ms. Lewinski."

I think there is more to this story, a lot more, the surface only has a tiny scratch in it. How long before one of these women comes forward and tells all? Does Weiner have a large enough war chest to pay off the multitudes who know the truth? Inquiring minds want to know and I think it's a matter of time before the rest of the story comes to the surface (and I managed to refrain from making a Weiner joke).

Please don't tell me this place is turning into Pinecam? It was a picture of our Ex VP Cheney sitting on a wall. So if someone is a little too bulgy in places then it is considered disgusting? We have had pictures of half naked people on here before. He is fully clothed. So a fully clothed pic of our VP has to be removed? Please then remove any pictures of Michelle Obama as I find some of them disgusting. Guess the sense of humor is lacking here today.

Weiner's the one who introduced what we call the "hot supermodel bill" -- HR 4354, legislation that would change the Immigration and Nationality Act to establish a separate classification for fashion models and make it easier for those gorgeous creatures to work in the U.S.A. -- in, say, Weiner's district. The bill is still languishing in committee.

WTH? There is a place for that and you know where it is. Look at my last post in the Ring. We try to keep the ch to mostly serious discussion. Not easy with that last name and scandal. LOL It is not the end of the world. We can split them if you want us to.

Weiner still has a lot of explaining to do. And I'm guessing more will come out.

Despite the long, uncomfortable press conference, there are still many questions, especially since we now know he's willing to lie (which seemed obvious to many of us during last week's events).

He said there were 6 women and he didn't meet any, were there more or did he meet some? OK, that alone won't matter, at least not from a legal standpoint.

But some things will matter. Were any of the women underage? Did he send any of the inappropriate photos without consent? Did he do this on government time or with government equipment?
