Under Article III a person can levy war against the United States without the use of arms, weapons, or military equipment. Persons who play only a peripheral role in a conspiracy to levy war are still considered traitors under the Constitution if an armed rebellion against the United States results. After the U.S. Civil War, for example, all Confederate soldiers were vulnerable to charges of treason, regardless of their role in the secession or insurrection of the Southern states. No treason charges were filed against these soldiers, however, because President Andrew Johnson issued a universal Amnesty.
I have been reading a lot where the tea baggers are advocating revolution. Interesting that they advocate treason against their own country.
I personally prefer to work within legal guidelines to invoke a peaceful change. Thinking about it, as an example, MLK led a successful revolution. As a US citizen, I could and would never advocate taking arms against my own country. I may think things are bad sometimes, but this is still the greatest country on earth. I am blessed to live here. Advocating an armed resistance is someone forcing their ideals on me that may be contrary to my principles. You would find I would take arms against anyone trying to overthrow my country.

Really? Did they do that? :bash
Come on - then they obviously would not be our government working within our constitution. I would say that was anarchy. We'd have taxation w/o representation
This is quite the silly little argument you have going on here. If a frog had wings, it wouldn't bump its ass on the ground too, but I don't know that we are gonna see frogs grow wings either.
What an interesting comeback.
As far as the teabaggers: How about Stephen Broden? Or Sarah Palin? I would think those would be two good examples. I also can't remember the name of the gal that quoted Jefferson on "A little revolution..."
When I Googled "candidates advocating revolution", the majority of hits were for the Socialist Party USA, and other Left wing nuts. There was one opinion piece for firedoglake/FDL that is a Lefty masquerading as an independent, but not much to support your claim. And it still doesn't answer the sexual kink question.
I'll make it clear. If I found an injured Lefty in the street, I would use my ass as smelling salts by rubbing it on their face. I would never even consider dragging my bag on their face.
