I'll leave it to Major Bean to explain that her face is not symmetrical and how she's ugly because she's a liberal. Personally, I think she looks remarkable, considering what she's been through.
Brain injuries and the problems with her eyes is pretty normal but you would be surprised at what the brain can heal and it takes 1-2 years. I am so happy to see her smiling. She is a very pretty gal.

in all fairness to major bean (though I don't know why, as he has been unfair to liberals more than once) his comment was not about Gabrielle Giffords. It was the result of his saying all liberal women were short, fat, and ugly and when shown a picture of an attractive woman he gave the above critique. He has said over and over again that liberal women were ugly, so the conclusion drawn by Wayne that major bean would find Gabrielle Giffords ugly is probably accurate.
It's taken from another discussion on the beauty of women in a Sarah Palin thread. He believes liberal women are ugly and conservative women beautiful (bucket pour water on the head, beautiful, according to him, the true mark of beauty). There was not one liberal woman he found beautiful.
I think she looks beautiful, as I stated. I also thought the women he found "ugly" to be beautiful as well.
