Was it not you that brought up Rep. Weiner in this thread, as a way of deflection away from the questions about Justice Thomas?
Back on topic - Do you think that Justice Thomas should recuse himself from cases that have the appearance of a conflict of interest?

Since, as I said earlier, the Dems tried to pass legislation several years ago that would disallow disgraced/resigned/expelled congress-critters from collecting pensions...and it was defeated by the Republicans...it's not only a moot issue, it's rather hypocritical, wouldn't you say?

If Justice Thomas did in fact accept gifts, then he should recuse himself from a cases involving the giver. Pretty simple.
