You chose the title, your link was to Real Clear Politics (note my comment earlier with the you betcha?). Try the truth, it will set you free. I normally post sarcastic, controversial remarks, but everyone knows it.
I know what I posted. Until/If she starts her bus tour again, it's not inaccurate.
The first story was on Real Clear Politics, but Fox also jumped in. What Palin corrected, however, was her own employer, Fox News.
Why couldn't they have just called her up and asked why she parked the bus before printing their story? Maybe she wouldn't take their call? Maybe she hadn't come up with the jury duty excuse yet.
Maybe Palin quit quitting? Maybe she changed her mind about quitting?
Jury duty in Alaska can last a long time. She may never be able to continue her bus tour (or run for President), if her jury duty term goes for a full year. Then again, she only has to make a phone call and be available, which I assume she might be able to do from the bus.
How long must I serve?
The time period during which you must be available to serve (called your "term of service") depends on the size of the court location where you serve. During your term of service you may have to call in or report to court periodically. You may not have to call in every day, but you must call on the days you are directed to do so.
In Anchorage, where the population is large and many trials are held each day, the term of service is either 5 consecutive days or, if you are selected to serve on a jury, the length of the trial.
In other courts, your term of service is either 30 days, 90 days or 1 year depending on the population of the area. In these courts, you may have to call in several days each month, and you may be selected to serve on more than one trial. The most days you might actually have to be present in court is 30 per year. However, you must complete any trial for which you are selected to serve as a juror regardless of how long the trial lasts.
I'd be interested to see if she was actually called for jury duty or if she is using this as an excuse to quit. I'm sure that there are reporters that are asking this same question in Alaska right now.

Let me get this straight. WayneH posted a link to an article at realclearpolitics, which was picked up by Fox News and other networks. Are you saying that WayneH the one who lied?

Wayne posts something that both RCP and FOX news posted, and used the headline from RCP, and you are angry at him for placing your precious Sarah in a bad light, even though he only posted what others had reported. So now, looking silly for having taken Wayne to task, you try to belittle him too......why not just go after FOX news? Sarah at least got that part right.
By the way, like others who post here, I also post satirical stuff. My original headline was satire. It's not my problem if you misunderstand that.

Sarah Palin says jury duty comes before bus tour
And here a couple of pictures just to pi$$-off the HATERS (which still don’t have the balls to answer my question, “Why the hatred?”, IMO, they’re still scared of her.)
Thanks for posting the photos of Palin crashing the non-political motorcycle rally that she wasn't invited to.
Where did anyone on here say they hate Sarah Palin? Just like the "Obama Messiah" references that the right keeps claiming the left says, that they never have. Repeat it often enough and maybe someone will believe it.
I've said repeatedly I hope she runs. My reason for that may be different from yours, however. :woo hoo:
