I'll take that as the usual DEFLECTION response, which amounts to "neener, neener, neener".... Let me know when you have something better.

The mission was accomplished for that carrier task force and they were going home. Makes sense to me.

Plus if you want to get more technical, the open battles with Saddam's military had ended. Too bad the running battles with the radicals wound up being much more dangerous.

I'm not interested in "getting more technical"; I'm not interested in your further obfuscations to try to somehow portray the Bushies as different from what Obama is doing and then being outraged by some nonsense based on a perceived technicality... After awhile it's a joke... In fact, it got to be a joke a long time ago.

Neener, neener, neener ... Too bad Obama was able to get Bin Laden on his watch, in 2-1/2 years, and Bush wasn't.

Don't you guys ever get tired of cheerleading for someone who does not have your best interest at heart? Bush, Obama, different face - same oligarchy. It doesn't matter any more what follows the dash.

More unrealistic? Only you yourself should have your best interests at heart.

A politician's main job is to lie and convince a majority of people that they will be better off if they vote for him.

Ah...Not quite TM..Republicans want to get rid of Social Security and Medicare completely. Democrats don't, and trust me- that will make a big difference to you when your 65 years old. And if thats how you feel, how come you don't argue for campaign finance reform? Because youre right in one respect, the president is not in charge. The corporations run the country by buying congressman and senators from both parties.

We're going to be bankrupt within 10 years if we keep things the way they are. We need some pretty deep cuts in every government program. Social Security was supposed to be a security blanket - a supplement. People now retire with only that. I would rather have the money that I put into SS to invest for myself. I could do a much better job of growing that money and the gov. wouldn't have to worry about paying me through its ponzi scheme. Medicare, well we're headed towards single payer anyway. It will get there in 5 to 10 years as employers realize that they can pay a fine much cheaper than they can provide insurance and send all of their employees into the exchange.
