It is still pretty early and she is an Iowa native.

The last poll I saw had her a couple points behind Romney.

It will be interesting to see how the press covers this female candidate. Lately they don't have a good record being fair to Palin, Bachman, and Clinton.

If that's the best the republicans can muster, I'll be voting 3rd party and we'll all find out how much damage Obama can do in 8 years instead of 4.

Nutjob candidates like Bachmann suck up all the oxygen in the room in these early stages. I still have hope that after all the Trumps, Gingriches, and Bachmanns have done their flash in the pan stuff that the party will settle down and get serious.

So all the anti-Bachman candidates, what are your biggest objection to her?

I don't like the way she contradicts herself on states rights when it comes to homosexual marriage. She wants states to have as much control as possible, but favors a federal law that would overrule the states that currently permit same-sex marriage.

So I like much of her fiscal ideas but not so happy with her social conservatism, especially when it comes to taking away people's freedoms.

I do admire her business background and all the foster kids she takes care of. I think she is lacking some executive experience, but still has more than Obama when he was elected.

Anyone that calls for McCarthy style hearings will not get my support. My Grandfather was ruined during that era. IMHO the attitude that any American who believes differently is a traitor is what is destroying our party and country. E Pluribus Unum.

She's sure going to make the Republican debates interesting...

Now, where does that put Palin, if she doesn't run? Just another Fox commentator?

Actually uncovered KGB records show that they did have moles inside both the US and British State Department so McCarthy was onto something. Outing Lucille Ball might have taken things to an extreme however. (Then again she did marry a Cubano, Desi, a mole for Fidel? )
