Yes, Labor Day parades can be quite festive! lol

Is there supposed to be something linking these two pictures or is it just that both communists and labor unions have parades so they must be the same?

Just curious LJ, do you keep the conservative faux pas list on a post-it by your keyboard, or do you actually waste space in your brain remembering them all so you can trot them out whenever you post?

Sure, they might dislike recent efforts to politicize history - but that's different.

(Republicans dislike recent efforts to politicize diversity - but that doesn't mean they dislike diversity).

Exactly. I often wonder if folks who make hateful statements about all those who believe otherwise have no loved ones that belong to the other parties. I have loved ones who are liberals, libertarians, conservatives and even a self-confessed Socialist (who is balanced on the right by a devotee of Beck & Limbaugh). I believe they are all patriots. Many of us will celebrate together this Independence Day. Yes, there will be political arguments but we will all part with hugs.

The first photo is a Labor Day parade in the US.

The second is a May Day celebration, which is synonymous to Labor Day or International Worker's Day in other countries.

But hey, I wasn't being serious about it anyway.

And because elite members of your party don't care about this either, you will continue to have Reagan Democrats support Republicans. People want to feel proud about their country, not a general malaise like Carter and Obama.

I remember when Dukakis was being nominated for President. the DNC convention hall decorators thought Red, White & Blue was just so tired, so they used pastel colors instead.

Most likely a word doc on the desktop, makes it real easy to grab a statement and paste it when the need arises. Although it could be in a keyword searchable database.

The Dem spin machine is very good at with this talking point, but even when Republicans had complete power, Social Security, Medicare, & Medicaid entitlements continued to grow.

And homosexuals? Republican legislators in NY state gave them same-sex marriage while minority Dem voters in California took it away.

And California still hasn't implemented it yet, have they? It's been fought in court, appealed, appealed again...It's still Unconstitutional... (Just as Amendment-2 was ruled unconstitutional in Colorado...)

Hey, you keep playing with the game pieces you have, and we'll keep playing the ones we have.... Let's see how far your message of hate, selfishness, bigotry, and screwing the seniors works for you.
