Even Bill Clinton thinks the corporate tax rate needs to be lowered to make the US a more competitive place to do business. Will Obama and the other Keyensians take this idea into consideration or will they continue to drive away businesses?

This is common sense, lets see it there is any left in Washington.
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
What does Simpson have to do with this? Was he ever president and ultimately responsible for the US economy like Clinton? I'm not saying that Clinton or any other President has any magic bullets to fix the economy, but to hear him say that our corporate tax rate should be lowered should at least be news worthy...should it not?
We heard over and over how Clinton masterfully built a great economy (actually the private sector did that), but now when the economy is in the toilet and the stimulus failed, why not take the advice form the great one himself? If I'm the CEO or a big corporation, I would think that the corporate tax rate would be a major considerationh as to whether or not I do business in the US. Common sense.

If you have to ask "What does Simpson have to do with this?", then you obviously don't pay attention to anything except the propaganda coming out of the Grover Norquist camp... Have a nice day.
Effective Corporates rates haven't been this low since the 1950s... And screaming louder doesn't make it different.
I'm not going into what every person thinks that may be an R or a D. This topic is about what the hero of the left thinks. Would you like to respond to the actual topic or deflect to someone elses opinion? What do you think about BILL CLINTON'S opinion specifically, or does he not have high enough credentials and experience for you?

So Bill Clinton is a pervert who should have been impeached, that is until he takes a stance that the conservatives agree with? Then they want to use him as a voice of reason?
When you plant ice you're going to harvest wind. - Robert Hunter
“When I was president, we raised the corporate income-tax rates on corporations that made over $10 million [a year],” the former president told the Aspen Ideas Festival on Saturday evening.
“It made sense when I did it. It doesn’t make sense anymore — we’ve got an uncompetitive rate. We tax at 35 percent of income, although we only take about 23 percent. So we should cut the rate to 25 percent, or whatever’s competitive, and eliminate a lot of the deductions so that we still get a fair amount, and there’s not so much variance in what the corporations pay. But how can they do that by Aug. 2?”

The question I ask is what do LIBERALSA think since they were so sure HE created such a good economy when he was president. I happen to agree with his opinion here and I disagree with many others. Is it not possible for him to be right on this point because it is something conservatives agree with?
And the Monica thing has nothing to do with this, but nice try on the deflection.
