But how can they do that by Aug. 2?”

Sounds like he's actually endorsing raising the corporate rate by 2%.

Some corporations have more deductions than others, you can't measure the tax revenue in a vacuum. The fact is that we have the second highest rate in the world and I believe it's doing more harm than good.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

So Bill Clinton is a pervert who should have been impeached, that is until he takes a stance that the conservatives agree with?

Clinton was impeached.

I see no liberals will discuss the issue-

I think it's time to bring in Monica- we all know willy had a good time with that!

I would have picked a hotter girl though.

Would you like to respond to the actual topic or deflect to someone elses opinion? What do you think about BILL CLINTON'S opinion specifically, or does he not have high enough credentials and experience for you?

:rofl rofllol You actually expected LJ to stay on a topic and discuss it without their random deflective posts? :rofl rofllol

She hates when the big time Dems agree with the Republican ideas.

And today 2 of the biggest Dems in the house, James Clyburn and John Larson and came out and said they want to EXTEND the payroll tax cuts to stimulate the economy and create jobs. The Dems are finally coming around.

We have the second highest rate in the world only if you look at it in a vacuum. That is based on the 35% rate before deductions. At 23%, which is what they really pay on average, then we're really not that high. Here's a good article explaining in more detail what Clinton was trying to say:

I agree the corporate tax rate should be reduced and most deductions/credits eliminated.

And while you're at it, do the same with individual income taxes, plus reduce the number of brackets (don't go to a single bracket flat tax, though). Everything would be simplified too.

AGAIN (wish you could read my lips), I didn't address the history of corporate tax rates, THE TOPIC IS BILL CLINTON'S OPINION!

Now would you like to be the first to address the topic or would like to wait for your delusional twin to deflect first? Do you think anyone in this administration will listen to Clinton or is his opinion and experience worth nothing to the Dems anymore?

Now as to the deflection, when was the last time we had an economy and debt this bad? Do we create more jobs by making it more expensive to do business in the US or do we make it more attrative by making it less expensive? It's a pretty simple question and has a pretty simple answer.

Stop asking them to answer direct simple questions. It only confuses them! LJ is spinning right now trying to figure out how NOT to answer your initial quesiton!

I know, I know. I just figure there's one liberal out there who doesn't follow LJ around like a lost puppy, waiting for the command to speak up.
