Warren Buffet on CNBC today

Did anyone watch the Warren Buffet interview on CNBC this morning? It was very good and Buffet is always positive, inspiring and uplifting. Buffet has a way of plain talking optimism and common sense that is so appealing. He reminds me a little of Reagan with his optimism about our future even when things look tough. Something very lacking in today's leaders in Washington. All we seem to hear from them is whine, can't do, class warfare, and blame everything but ourselves for our troubles.

Warren seems to think the economy and jobs will recover when the new home construction business recovers, which he thinks is soon.

I'll check their web site and see if they have any videos. It was a good interview.

Nope... It's like watching 'W'-- about 10 seconds is all I can tolerate before I need a barf-bag... But I did find this:

'News Of The World' Last Edition: James Murdoch Says It's Over

News of the World will publish its last edition on Sunday according to a statement by James Murdoch, Chairman and Chief Executive of News Corporation, Europe and Asia.

In a statement Murdoch said: "Having consulted senior colleagues, I have decided that we must take further decisive action with respect to the paper. This Sunday will be the last issue of the News of the World."

He said the newspaper would not run any adverts this weekend, adding the advertising space would be donated to causes and charities.

On the job losses that will follow the decision Murdoch said: "I can understand how unfair these decisions may feel. Particularly, for colleagues who will leave the Company... You may see these changes as a price loyal staff at the News of the World are paying for the transgressions of others. So please hear me when I say that your good work is a credit to journalism. I do not want the legitimacy of what you do to be compromised by acts of others. I want all journalism at News International to be beyond reproach."

I guess he realized he had to bail out before Parliament came after him... They were screaming about wanting his head on a platter yesterday... They need to learn to be a bit more subtle in their excursions into filth and manufactured headlines...like FauxNews....

Thanks for the link. I'll try to watch it over my agonizingly slow DSL.

I don't see why you would hate Warren Buffett so LJ. He's the one who said we should raise taxes on the wealthy, that his tax rate was higher than his admin. assist. He's amazingly moderate. What's your beef?

He's not a full on screaming liberal. She listens when George Soros speaks or if someone is on PMSNBC.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

Sorry, I was confusing Buffett with Rupert Murdoch... It's kind of busy here this morning, and I'm jumping in between meetings...

My Bad.

You're right, I DO like Buffett... He's something you don't see too often... A millionaire with a conscience...
