Hard to write cursive while typing an email or sending a text. Next thing you know, people will be demanding that we go back to using a quill and a bottle of ink. It's the 21st century, progress marches forward...

I remember my great grandmother thinking it was horrible that I didn't embroider. How would I ve able to darn socks, sew seams, turn collars-womanly skills she thought were indispensable. Now embroidering is a recreational pursuit. Useful and beautiful but not required. I think cursive is going the same way.

The way things are going, your grandmother might turn out to be right about at least knowing how to darn socks.

lol I remember one of my sons asking how to pronounce King Henry's last name. His best guess was uksvie.
